Address Book Manipulator helps eliminate double entry between Apple Address Book/Contacts and FileMaker. This plug-in provides a bi-directional data exchange between FileMaker Pro and Apple's Address Book or Contacts using nothing more than FileMaker script steps. The Address Book Manipulator can exchange data dynamically in a "one-to-many" format which handles group and individual contacts, multiple addresses, phone numbers, and e-mails. Use of this plug-in eliminates double entry without any need for XML or AppleScript programming.
Key features:
- Contacts - Create, retrieve, edit or delete any address book contact in FileMaker. Push or pull contacts from the address into FileMaker for easy contact management.
- Groups - Add, edit or delete groups or contacts from groups. You can also retrieve a list of names or UID values for contacts or groups.
- Search - Any criteria in Address Book/Contacts from FileMaker and perform a multi valued search.
- Access - Set and get all text, date and number fields including labels and custom labels. Plus set and get picture and custom fields.
- Handheld Devices - Use this plug-in to facilitate moving your contact information from FileMaker Pro into your iPhone via the address book.
- Error Trapping - Enhanced error trapping to assist with development and ease of use.
